Canadian singer Shawn Mendes started his music career by posting snippets of cover songs on Vine, and has since seen rising mainstream success as a musician, becoming the youngest artist to reach the top 25 with his debut single, Life of The Party, on the Billboard Hot 100.

Mendes has amassed a huge following and continues to grab the attention of the worldwide music industry, having accumulated over 14 million YouTube views, 2.6 million Vine followers and over 1.3 million Twitter followers. The 15 year old, who was born in born in Toronto, Ontario, is now preparing to tour the US with American popstar Austin Mahone and British boy band The Vamps, kicking off in September 2014, as well as the release of his first major label album through Island Records later this year.
